Entree Service

This service is most popular with Paleo, Keto, Whole30, and Athletic Lifestyles.  We will prepare main protein entrees like grilled chicken, marinated and ready to bake shrimp or fish, chicken salads, salad dressings, to pair with your favorite greens or steamed vegetable.  Or we can prepare On-the-Go snacks like avocado deviled eggs, granola bars or Paleo friendly snack mixes.  Prices begin at $250 plus the costs of food.​

Standard Service

Complete meals consisting of entrees and an appropriate side dish - i.e. Stroganoff with Mashed Potatoes or General Tso Chicken with Fried Rice.  Unless the entree is all inclusive such as a stew, hearty soup, or casserole with vegetables and starches in it.   

5 Entrees with side dishes
$475 + the cost of groceries
This is the most cost effective plus it allows you less frequency and more variety in a single day of service

4 Entrees with side dishes
$350 + the cost of groceries

This selection is most popular with weekly service customers.  It allows for a few nights of dinner at home with some left overs to be enjoyed for lunches or 

3 Entrees with side dishes 
$285 + the cost of groceries 
This selection is perfect for families who need a few prepared dishes to supplement their weekly meals, or school lunches or meals while on vacation.

Dinner for Two

Celebrate your special occasion with an intimate 3-course dinner prepared and served in your home. Prices start at $300 plus the cost of food.

Private Cooking Classes

Would you like to learn a new cooking technique or learn how to get a healthy dinner on the table in no time at all? Cooking classes can be tailored to fit your cooking level whether you are a novice or just looking to add a few new recipes to your repertoire. Learning to cook in your own kitchen with personalized instruction can make you feel more confident quicker! Call for pricing.

We use our own chef knives, specialty knives, but will sometimes use your stock pots, small appliances or crockpots. All the food is prepared in the safety of your home kitchen as we are not a delivery service. We will bring with us all necessary items like pressure cookers, rice cookers, mandolines, and whatever necessary to accomplish our menu selections.

Payment for Services:

The chef fee is due before or on each cookdate. Your grocery fee will be tabulated during the service cook date and due that day. If you are not present during the cook date, arrangements will be made for you to leave a check as payment. Chef Somer accepts personal checks or cash. You can also be billed you monthly to reduce paperwork via Paypal for $10 service fee.


If chef date is cancelled seven (7) days or less from scheduled cooking day, Chef Fee is not refundable. 

Lockout Fees:

If client’s home is inaccessible or unsafe due to pets or other reasons, Chef Fee will nonetheless be required.

Returned Checks:

Any check/payment returned for insufficient funds will result in a $35 NSF fee due prior to the next cooking date. Client will also be responsible for all charges/fees levied by the bank.

Speciality Discounted Bundles are non-refundable.  The purchase of specially discounted services for one month are more are non-refundable.  A discount was given in good faith and your cook day has been scheduled for those days you requested. Our planning for your cook date begins days and weeks before the actual day we are in your home cooking.

A Personal Chef Service allows you to personalize and customize your menu to your liking.  Based on our discussion, you menu will be created to best suit your palate.  Some clients arrange for a personal chef every other week, while others find a monthly service fits their needs. We will customize the service and menu to fit every client's situation. 

All packages include menu planning, shopping, meal preparation, packaging, labeling, heating instructions & clean up. Costs are quoted on an individual basis as specific needs will vary and will be determined at your complimentary consultation. 

The basic packages and average prices are listed below. Grocery costs are separate and will be determined by your food choices, ie: Organics, Hormone Free, Grass Fed, Locally sourced, etc. The usual beginning cost of groceries is $100.00 and is paid as a deposit to allow for the shopping of the ingredients that your menu requires. Any over payment of your grocery deposit after your cheffing date will either be applied to your next cheffing date or credited on your current invoice.
